Product information

The Alphacool Eisball expansion tank with integrated pump top comes in a unique design. The unprecedented spherical shape opens up countless new possibilities, especially in the area of modding. From static, single-color lighting to the R2D2 mod: there really are no limits to creativity here.

Unique design and excellent lighting

In contrast to conventional expansion tanks, the Alphacool Ice Ball has a spherical design that has never been seen before. The 22 digital RGB LEDs, which run completely around the equator of the ice ball in a chrome ring, provide versatile and optimal lighting. Of course, the device comes with a digital RGB controller with which you can individually adjust the style and lighting of your ice ball.

Versatile mounting options

Don't limit yourself to a single mounting option! The adhesive mat and 2 different mounting plates included in the delivery allow you to implement many different mounting ideas: whether on the radiator, the fan slots, or a 2.5" SSD slot. Alternatively, you can of course also use the tried and tested universal Alphacool pump mount.

Where is the pump?

The pump disappears completely inside the ice ball. It is inserted into the ice ball from below and secured with a special pump bracket. All Alphacool D5 pumps such as the VPP655 and VPP755 as well as all original Laing D5 pumps are suitable for installation.

Is the Ice Ball Silent suitable?

With the ice ball, the pump is completely inside the container and is therefore completely surrounded by water. The water acts as additional sound insulation. The included decouplers also reduce vibration transmission to a minimum. All in all, a truly silent product!

Note: The ice ball can also be operated upside down with the VPP755 pump. However, only with the VPP755.
With all other Laing D5 pumps such as the VPP655 this is not possible due to the spherical bearing.
