Alphacool's Repack Dual Bayres 5.25" goes into the second round, revision 2 is here!

Based on the development of the Alphacool Repack Dual 5.25 Bay Station, this Bayres also offers its advantages: easy assembly, space-saving, and visually very appealing! The new Alphacool Repack Dual Bayres combines all of this at the highest level. But Alphacool wouldn't be Alphacool if this new product didn't bring with it some innovations that weren't previously available on the market!

The Alphacool Repack Dual Bayres 5.25" - Rev.2 is designed for installation in the front of a case. Two 5.25" drive bays are required. As standard, the inlet and outlet can be via ¼" threaded openings. However, Alphacool also offers the option of using 3/8" threaded screws as an alternative to increase the flow. Of course, all four openings can also be used if you want to set up a two-circuit system, for example.

Technological innovations in the Alphacool Repack Dual Bayres:
So far, the key data sounds almost standard, but the developers have put some thought into solving common problems:

Anti Cyclone:
Unlike known solutions, where the coolant is directed around many corners and edges and micro bubbles remain in the system at the end, a new technology is used here: In front of the ¼” hose inlets and outlets there is a kind of filter, which completely eliminates the problem of mini air bubbles in the expansion tank.

Fill:
With all previously known slot-in AGBs, filling was a real chore: unscrew, pull out, fill, screw tight. And when filling, you would have preferred a third or fourth hand, as it was always a kind of floating operation. No more of that! There is now a filling rod on the front. This can be unscrewed with a few turns, pulled out, and as it is hollow on the inside, the container can be filled very easily using this rod. Spray bottles or a funnel from our range are ideal for this.

The eye-catcher:
The front, i.e. what is mainly visible after assembly, is very nice to look at in itself. Acrylic, acetal, level indicator and filling rod in combination with the typical alphacool copper look looks great. The next step is to put the contents of the container in the right light. Up to 6x 5mm LEDs can be inserted at the back. Absolute highlight: a 10cm cathode can be inserted from above! You can't get stronger luminosity! In combination with the LEDs, different colors could also set the front in scene. Resourceful users will certainly develop and discover even more ideas with the in-house Heatmaster.

With all these points, more power, more eye-catchers and extremely comfortable handling, you could almost say: Why only high-class, isn't this already first class?

Danger:
Due to the large selection of housings, problems can arise when inserting the dual container. The dimensions were chosen so that the front is completely sealed and the container can only be installed with modifications to the interior.

Note: The copper-colored logo is covered with a carrier film. To make the copper shine beautifully, this simply needs to be peeled off.

Note on the cathodes: We have found that there are manufacturing tolerances of up to 0.3mm for the cathodes, even for cathodes from the same packaging. This could mean that the cathodes do not fit right away, as the opening is intended for clamping the cathodes so that the appearance is not spoiled by gluing. These zero-point millimeters can be easily corrected with sandpaper and a few strokes over the edge.

Important note: Please note that Alphacool International GmbH does not accept any liability for damage to this product caused by the use of other coolants. We would like to point out that other coolants often contain alcohols or other aggressive components as inhibitors that attack the acetal. Please only use our Campe Kelvin Catcher.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
