A pipe reinvented

The ice cream bowl series consists of 20 different expansion tanks that differ in the type of application, size and appearance. Among these, there are ten expansion tanks that are made of 99% acrylic glass - that's unique! The main difference, however, is the function of the different bases.

Essential components

Bubble Down
This is located at the very bottom of the expansion tank and effectively prevents the formation of suction and whirlpools, thereby preventing the suction of air bubbles.

Lighttower riser tube
The so-called "light tower" effect creates a visual experience in any water cooler. In the ice cream cups, this was used both from below and from above. The water is led up or down through the riser tube and sprays through eight evenly distributed holes at the end of the tube onto the inner wall of the container. This interesting-looking water feature is the so-called light tower effect.

Stand
The feet known from ice sheets are also used here and give each combination a firm footing.

Brackets
Two brackets are installed above and below the pipe for fastening in the housing. These brackets have holes spaced apart by a 120mm or 140mm fan. However, if the container is not to be mounted on fan slots, the brackets can be reduced to the width of the container and there are three M4 threads per bracket available for fastening. Even if the brackets are not used at all, they can be easily removed. This bracket can be found on all 20 containers.

Lighting module
The lighting modules are made of acrylic glass and enable lighting with a 5mm LED. The modules can be screwed into all 1/4" openings. They are used in the lid and sometimes in the bases of the containers. This allows unique lighting effects to be created.

All versions of the container are available in acetal and acrylic, so there is something for everyone.

Sizes
All containers are available in two different sizes: the 150mm version and the 10cm larger 250mm version. Due to the size, the smaller container only has one riser tube coming from the bottom. The larger container even has two, one coming from the bottom and one from the top.

The Ice Cream Sundae Lite

This container is also operated with a separate pump. However, this container is a little different to its other four siblings. Instead of the bubble down and the riser tube, Alphacool has provided a bridge in the middle that catches all the turbulence in the water. In addition, this bridge with the Alphacool logo in the acrylic version can be illuminated with three LEDs - a real eye-catcher for any system. But here too, the light tower effect does not have to be dispensed with, as a shorter riser tube is inserted from above. The inlet and outlet for the coolant are each present twice - once from the side and once from below.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.

Notice:

In order to use the intake from the top, a G1/4” extension piece is necessary (article 1011183-1011186), since the screw thread is embedded a few mm into the lid and many compression fittings will not be able to be screwed in.
