Alphacool's HardTube family is getting new members. The new HardTubes made of borosilicate glass give every system a whole new quality.

The most commonly used method for water cooling to date has been normal PVC tubes - now Alphacool is offering another method for designing a water cooling system. The HardTube variant brings even more order to the system, which gives a much more structured impression.

Borosilicate glass meets all the requirements of water cooling. Stability and brilliant appearance are not the only properties that lead to the choice of this glass, because even chemicals and temperature fluctuations cannot harm borosilicate glass. It is not without reason that this type of glass is used throughout the chemical industry.

All glass tubes are compatible with the Alphacool HardTube connections. Alphacool currently offers two classic sizes. One tube with an outer diameter of 16mm and one tube with an outer diameter of 13mm. Since this glass cannot be deformed, Alphacool also offers 90° angles in various lengths. This means that you can now do without connecting angle pieces.

To cut the pipes to the correct length, Alphacool recommends a diamond cutting disc for the Dremel®.

WARNING:
Never use a standard glass tube cutter to shorten the glass tubes. Borosilicate glass is a very hard glass and cannot be cut cleanly with a glass tube cutter. For this reason, please use a Dremel® with the appropriate cutting disc!

Because the pipes are made to fit, the connections have to be pushed on straight with a little force.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
