Product information

With the Core Storm water cooling set, Alphacool provides all the components needed to get started in the world of water cooling. The set is aimed not only at beginners, but also at enthusiasts. The selected components are optimally coordinated and come from Alphacool's DIY program. When choosing materials, the company continues to uncompromisingly use copper or brass for all metals in order to guarantee performance-oriented CPU cooling. Thanks to the included quick-release fastener, additional components such as radiators or GPU coolers can be integrated later without having to empty or rebuild the water circuit.

Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU Cooler
Alphacool's Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU water cooler offers the highest performance and impresses with its excellent quality. The patented ramp system ensures optimal water flow within the cooler, as the water is evenly pressed through the nozzle plate. 81 cooling fins are distributed on the CPU cooler base, covering an area of 34 x 32mm and thus do justice to the ever-growing CPU DIEs. The Aurora design in combination with the 15 addressable digital aRGB LEDs offers many options for outstanding lighting of the CPU water cooler. The included mounting material makes the CPU cooler compatible with the common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel.

Core 100 Aurora Reservoir & VPP Apex Pump
The Core reservoir combines performance with design. The reservoir tube is made of acrylic, the D5/VPP pump top and the lid are made of acetal. The combination of these two materials gives the reservoir a subtle appearance. 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top and the light tower water effect inside the acrylic tube provide the wow effect. The Apex VPP is a powerful pump that is compatible with the most common D5/VPP tops and reservoirs. The pump speed can be read out via the 4-pin fan connector and controlled via a PWM signal. The Apex VPP is supplied with power via the SATA connector.

NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 420mm Radiator V.2
All water-carrying parts and the cooling fins are made of pure copper. This means that the NexXxoS XT45 achieves the highest thermal conductivity of all radiators on the market and can easily dissipate extremely high levels of waste heat. The radiator has two IN or OUT connections with G1/4" threads in the pre-chamber area. On the opposite side there is a fill or vent port that can be used to fill and empty the water circuit.

Rise Aurora 140mm fan
The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2000 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. At 800 rpm, the fan is almost silent, but still offers a good air flow (154.1 m³/h) coupled with a high static pressure (2.20 mm/H2O). In addition to a wide control range, the Rise fan also offers outstanding digital aRGB lighting. 24 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the frame and hub, which illuminate the entire fan.

AlphaTube HF 13/10mm hose & HF G1/4" quick release coupling
The clear 13/10mm PVC hose offers comfortable handling when laying and connecting water cooling components. It has good laying and bending properties and allows for easy bridging of tight bending radii. The HF quick-release coupling included in the scope of delivery enables easy integration of additional components at a later date without having to empty or rebuild the water circuit.

Icicle 13/10mm G1/4" connections
All requirements that are placed on a connection are met here: high flow, shape, processing and color. The coating is firmly bonded to the substrate using special manufacturing processes. This increases the longevity of the color and prevents the coating from flaking off.

Thermal paste & coolant
The thermal paste included in the delivery is Alphacool's Subzero with a thermal conductivity of 16 W/mk. The electrically non-conductive thermal grease is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to the viscosity of 850,000 TF. Tec Protect 2 Clear in the 1 liter bottle is used as the coolant. With Tec Protect 2 Clear you get a ready-mix that already contains all the necessary additives and can be used straight from the bottle.

aRGB Controller, Cables, Tools & Accessories
All cables (aRGB, PWM) and controllers required for using and controlling the pump, fan and aRGB lighting are included in the scope of delivery. The accessory package also includes important tools such as a hose cutter, spray bottle and an ATX 24-pin jumper. This means that you can start building the custom loop "out-of-the-box" straight away.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
