In addition to working on the PC every day, there are also many Alphacool employees who like to play a few rounds on the PC. Therefore, it was only logical to design a mouse pad that is perfect for working in the office and playing on the PC. The most important basics were quickly found.

Simplicity:
Colorful and abstract images should definitely not be visible on the surface. It should be classy and simple, so the entire surface is matt black. Only a small, discreet Alphacool logo shows the manufacturer.

Perfect sliding properties and non-slip:
Annoying resistance that makes working and playing difficult should not occur. Alphacool therefore uses a finely structured fabric surface that offers the lowest possible friction resistance. The bottom of the ice carpet is completely rubberized, making it almost impossible for the mouse pad to slip.

Comfortable support:
With many mouse pads, the hand often rests on them for hours. This means that a mouse pad must also be comfortable. Underneath the fabric surface there is a special thin foam which can give slightly when pressure is applied. This makes the mouse pad a comfortable hand rest for hours of work or gaming. This is further supported by the low thickness of just 3mm. This means that annoying mouse pad edges are eliminated.

High quality:
The ice carpet consists of three very different materials. A complete rubber coating on the bottom, a special foam layer in the middle and the robust fabric cover on the top. All materials are fused together using a special heat treatment. This connection is so strong that Alphacool does not sew the edges to prevent them from folding over. It is simply no longer necessary.
