Product information

HardTubes are very popular. If you prefer clear and clean lines in your computer, you can choose them for the tubing of the water circuit. The majority of HardTubes are clear and transparent. With the Carbon HardTube, Alphacool offers an interesting alternative to the common variants made of PETG or acrylic.

The HardTubes are made of CFRP (carbon laminate). The smooth surface and the structure of the carbon laminate give every water cooling system a unique appearance.

Processing & Assembly
The HardTubes made of carbon (CFRP) cannot be bent. For a precise installation, the pipes must be sawn to the correct length. To do this, you should use a pull saw that is suitable for processing carbon (CFRP). To ensure straight cutting edges, it is advisable to use a sawing jig. When shortening the pipes, make sure to smooth the cutting edges with a fine file or sandpaper, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings. Alphacool's Eiszapfen HardTubes connectors in the appropriate size are suitable for connecting the pipes. After assembly, the pipes should be rinsed for cleaning. It is best to use distilled water for this.

Notice
When working on the carbon tubes (sawing & filing), make sure to wear protective equipment. The use of safety goggles, FFP2 masks and gloves is advisable. In addition, work on the HardTubes should only be carried out in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
