Product information

This flow sensor is integrated into the cooling circuit and enables continuous flow measurement. The sensor can be connected to an aquaero 4.00 USB fan controller or to the poweradjust USB pump controller using the separately available connection cable.
This new version with a nozzle diameter of 5.6 mm reduces the flow resistance to a minimum compared to the previous version with a diameter of 3.3 mm, without noticeably limiting the measuring accuracy.

Please note the different calibration values for the different nozzle diameters:
Nozzle diameter 5.6 mm: 256 pulses per litre
Nozzle diameter 3.3 mm: 509 pulses per litre
The nozzle diameter is documented on the type plate of the flow sensor.

For evaluation, additional components (see compatibility list) and a suitable connection cable (item no. 71044 ) are required; these are not included in the scope of delivery!

Note on sensor compatibility:
Flow sensors are only suitable for connection to a compatible control unit and can NOT be connected directly to a fan output, e.g. of a mainboard or a fan controller, as the pulses emitted by the flow sensor do not reach the required pulse rate (such as a fan). The only option is to use the Pulsmatik (Art. 71000) which is connected between the flow sensor and e.g. the mainboard. However, we advise against this solution for practical and cost reasons alone and recommend connecting this flow sensor directly to a compatible control unit.
