Alphacool Eiszapfen pressure relief valve. A pressure relief valve for even more safety in the system!

In normal systems, a normal expansion tank is usually sufficient to compensate for the pressures that occur. The products that are installed in a system are also pressure tested to at least 2 bar. But for users who have a lot of components in their circuit, the extreme temperature difference between idle and operating mode can lead to very high pressures, and for some components it is advisable to release this pressure using a pressure relief valve!

This pressure relief valve can, for example, be easily screwed into a T-piece and thus installed at any point in the circuit. Some expansion tanks, for example, have several openings where standard caps are used, so the valve can be inserted here. The 1/4" threaded connection is also very short, only 4mm, and allows for many other installation points in your water cooling system. The low total height of the valve, without thread of 16mm, also speaks for its wide range of applications. The seal attached to the underside offers additional security to keep your system tight. The valve allows excess pressure of 0.3-0.4kg/cm² to escape at 4.3-5.7psi.

Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
