The Alphacool Laing DDC-SilentBox brings absolute silence to your system.

With water cooling, if you have decent fans, the pump is usually the loudest. Even if it is whisper quiet, you can still hear it subliminally!

Alphacool has therefore produced an insulation box with many refinements for the most popular pump types, the Laing DDC 1T and 1Plus, to make even the last loud device in your computer absolutely quiet. What this insulation box can do is broken down individually below:

Silence:
A completely closed box surrounds the pump. This box is also covered with foam on the inside, on the one hand to further decouple the pump and on the other hand for further sound absorption. The inlets and outlets for the pump are also closed with this foam when delivered. Each user can cut the opening so that no sound bridges are created. Even the cable is covered with foam after the box has been assembled.

Decoupling, assembly:
The pump is already well decoupled internally, but externally this box offers even more options. Firstly, 8x M4 threads are integrated on the underside. This can be used, for example, to decouple the box from the floor with the decoupling set for Eheim/Hydor (2xAG) 4 pieces (item number: 52010) or the decoupling set for Eheim/Hydor/Laing attachment (1xIG/1xAG) 4 pieces (item number: 52007). On the side, the pump box is designed for a 3.5 inch drive bay, and this box can be hung up decoupled with hard drive decouplers that are designed for a larger 5.25 inch bay. For this purpose, 2x M3 openings are recessed on each side.

Alternatively, mounting screws are included in the delivery to mount the box in a 3.5 inch hard drive slot. 2 free hard drive slots are required.

Laing DDC with or without lid?
This insulation box has been designed so that the pump can be installed normally without modification, but also with different covers. Even the opening in the cover with a centrally positioned outlet has been taken into account!

Connections:
In general, it can be said that all covers can be fitted with connections using extensions with an outer diameter of up to 12 mm. Accordingly, all hose nozzles or connections with union nuts of these dimensions also fit. The Alphacool connections with the Alphacool covers can even be used directly with 13/10 mm connections.
