The Alphacool sealing cap allows an unused VPP/D5 pump mount to be safely sealed. It is ideal for systems in which no pump is to be installed in the designated position, either temporarily or permanently.
The reliable seal ensures that the water-cooling loop remains securely closed. At the same time, the sealing cap provides a clean and tidy appearance within the cooling system. This makes it a practical solution for custom water-cooling builds and flexible system configurations.
The sealing cap is made from transparent material, allowing it to blend discreetly into the overall appearance of the water-cooling system. Its surface is slightly curved outwards, giving the cap a modern and premium shape.
The Alphacool Ribbon is positioned in the centre and is slightly raised above the surface. This subtle relief adds a distinctive visual detail without compromising the sealing cap’s minimalist design.
The sealing cap is installed in the designated pump mount in place of a VPP or D5 pump. It is essential to place a suitable O-ring between the sealing cap and the pump mount. The O-ring ensures a reliable seal and prevents coolant from leaking.
The VPP/D5 pump bracket is then positioned and screwed to the pump mount. The screws should be tightened evenly to ensure that the sealing cap and O-ring are seated correctly and that the pump mount is securely sealed.

Note on application
Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
