Hailea's cooling units have been installed in proven flow coolers from other manufacturers for over 15 years. The new heat exchangers in the Ultra series are made from titanium. This makes the coolers perfect for water cooling systems for PCs, servers, aquariums or ice baths. Another positive feature of the devices is the low noise level. In addition, the prices of the new series have dropped to pleasing levels.

New revision
- new cool design
- More stable materials for longer life
- lower noise level
- Suitable for endurance running
Noise development
According to the manufacturer, smaller chillers (e.g. HC150) are specified at 20dB(A) and can usually be operated next to the PC / aquarium without this being perceived as disturbing.
For larger models (from HC500) we recommend additionally decoupling and insulating the chiller
The HC1000 and HC2000 models should be specially insulated or operated in a separate room.
This flow cooler essentially replaces the radiator, as the water is regulated down to a temperature set by you. Temperatures of up to 4°C are possible, but please note that the temperature difference can cause condensation to form. The temperature can be set in individual steps up to 28°C via the display. Appropriate insulation accessories (for hose and CPU) are also available. Alternatively, the chiller can also be set to a value just below room temperature to avoid the problem of condensation.
The low water temperatures open up unprecedented possibilities for overclocking. The lifespan of your components increases many times over. This system is also interesting for no-noise applications, as the chiller can be placed in another room. We recommend integrating the chiller as an additional cooling source in a system next to an existing radiator. This way, you can switch off the normal radiator as needed (overclocking / benchmark / midsummer, etc.) and the chiller will then take over the cooling.
To estimate the cooling options, here are some non-binding tips. Please ask the hardware manufacturer for the exact power losses.
CPU: 80 (normal) to 150W (overclocked)
GPU: 50 (small cards) to 250W (e.g. GTX 980)
MB: 20 to 40W per component
The cumulative value of your system under full load must not exceed the specified value of the chiller's cooling capacity.
In case of use for cooling an aquarium, the following manufacturer information is relevant
Model / Liter
HC-130 / 50-100L
HC-150 / 50-200L
HC-250 / 100-300L
HC-300 / 100-400L
HC-500 / 200-800L
HC-1000 / 300-1000L
HC-2000 / 400-1500L
We at Aquatuning would like to point out that the manufacturer's specifications were created under optimal conditions. The temperature behavior can vary greatly due to the insulation of the tank, the radiation from the lamps or the sunlight. Therefore, we at Aquatuning recommend choosing the next larger model when the upper limit of the liter values is reached.

Note for first-time users
If you have a problem with the chiller, please contact us before sending it back. Often there is no problem with the chiller, but the user is simply not entirely clear about how it works. Please note: The compressor switches itself on and off, tampering with the thermal sensor will void the guarantee, the noise level of the compressor or allegedly insufficient cooling capacity is not grounds for complaint, and the chiller only works properly if it is operated in a water circuit with a sufficiently powerful pump. If you pay attention to these points, the majority of complaints can be avoided and you will have a lot of fun with this product.
Note for aquarium cooling
In practice, the specified cooling capacity is influenced by the aquarium lighting, the reduced pump performance, e.g. due to filters, and the waste heat from the pump. We therefore recommend ordering the chiller at least one power level higher than theoretically calculated.
